Winter Workshop hosted by Watershed Protection Committee of Racine County

  • Cotton Exchange 345 Hickory Hollow Road Waterford, WI, 53185 United States (map)

WORKSHOP SPEAKER- Tom Cotter: At Cotter Farms in Mower County, MN, the combination of reduced tillage, cover crops, and livestock grazing have led to a dramatic improvement to soil health. Every acre of his cover crops are grazed by grass-fed beef cattle. Tom actively promotes soil health to other farmers at state and national events. At this workshop, Tom will focus on maximizing the benefits of soil health  in your row crop or livestock operations, and how soil health benefits can impact production as well as the consumer.
