Spend a day learning from grazing expert and consultant to farmers and ranchers across the world, Jim Gerrish! This full-day workshop begins inside with a class at Seno Conservancy, includes a catered lunch, and ends with hands-on demonstrations on Starry Nights Farm, a rotationally grazed farm in Burlington.
Jim Gerrish has a BS in Agronomy and a Master's in Crop Ecology. He served 22 years of beef-forage system research and outreach at the University of Missouri, has written two books on grazing and ranch management, and speaks at roughly 25 workshops a year. His research and outreach efforts have been recognized with awards from numerous groups and agencies including the American Forage and Grassland Council, USDA-NRCS, and the American Agricultural Editors Association.
